slc trip for the bees game

thanks to Phil's work we were able to go to a Salt Lake Bees Baseball game. we had really awesome seats behind home plate. we were also able to go to temple square. the kids loved the children's museum. Josh and cousin Scotty played with the kitchen " serving the missionaries" for about a half hour. Katie loved dancing. Adam loved the almost everything, mostly the computer matching game.

summer fun

we've had a very busy summer. lots on fun activites. Josh's baseball team won the championship for his age division. phil having fun with katie and adam in the family pool.

oh my goodness i can't believe it's june only 1 week until heritage days. oh i can't wait to get that over with.mom is the chair over the carnival.big challenge but so fun. megz and josh are in softball and baseball.katie and adam just enjoy playing with friends all day. mom can't believe she has already heard the words i'm bored. summer just started.hopefully things will get better we have lots of activities this summer. gtg so much to do in so little time.

In the past month Megan has had an interest in pageants. she started practicing about 3 weeks ago for the nibley city royalty pageant which was on may 22nd. Adam was megan's escort. he was so cute everone awwed when he came out with megz.she won junior miss first attendant. this past weekend may 29th megan was in another pageant ( the diamond star pageant.) in this pageant she won the junior diamond supreme, which means she won her age group. we couldn't be more proud of her. she has worked so hard and in so little time. i still can't believe it. Our dear friend julia helped coach megz for the pageants.

the rest of the kids are glad school is finally out for summer. katie is a little sad because her teacher is retiring the year.she keeps asking when will miss persur come back. the kids are ready for summer but i don't know if mom and dad are. life is so busy. maybe after june things will easier, oh wait mom and dad come home in july then family reunion in august. i guess life will never stop being busy. that's ok i love my family.

On April 1st my sweet little megan (not so little) turned 12 years old. where has the time gone. she is turning into such a young woman. during spring break we went to the Hill Aerospace Museum. as most of you know Josh is all ready talking about joining the military. going also helped Josh complete a requirement for scouts. this month of April is going to bring lots of busy days. mom will be coaching Katie's soccer games as well having soccer games for megz and josh. also mom is involved in helping with heritage days for Nibley City. mom is asking herself what have i gotten myself into, but i am very excited for the challenge in front of me, but by no means am i super mom. from now until about the middle of july our lives will be very busy.

this fall has brought us my unexpected things. phil had knee surgery in October.Our dear aunt Alice passed away. the kids enjoying school, but can't wait for the christmas break. Megan got on the honor roll for the first term in school. she enjoys school but is starting to realize how much more work midddle school is. chistmas is coming and i love this time of the year, to celebrate the birth of our savior and celebate giving.
